African Reflections Foundation now, empower men in Kisele village, Mkuranga.

When men say enough is enough and they decide to help themselves.
ARF believes that when you reach out and bring help to those in need and teach them the technics, people do want to come out of the situation they live in.

Now, ARF goes further to empower not only women but their spouses in Kisele Village Mkuranga. This week ARF started a brick making business for the men. ARF in turn will be the first client buying the bricks from them, for the different projects that will stat under the Team Rafiki Volunteers projects to start this week. ARF and Team Rafiki will be building community washrooms for the village of Kisele.

Trish Anthony Receive ARF Award

Trish Anthony, who served as Executive Secretary for African Reflection Foundation in Tanzania , leaves the Country for good to return to her home land Canada. Trish was a sincere person and gave her time and dedication to serve the people of Mkuranga, Tanzania where, ARf has its stronghold. African Reflections Foundation Boards and its members wish her all the very best of luck in her future in Canada and all her future undertakings.

30,000$ Raised at Wells For Life GALA

Thirty thousand dollars raised at the Wells For Life GALA, held last Saturday June 6th 2009.

African Reflections Foundation Photos Exhibition at the Empire State Plaza

ARF Founder, Maria Pool explain to visitors how her organization work to change lives in Africa, presently ARF is working in Tanzania where ARF has a strong base.

With the help of OGS Commissioner, Mr. John C. Egan and his management team, African Reflections Foundations has a display of photos and banners, depicting the work that the foundation does in Africa, Tanzania. The photos taken from the field shows the need of the people, and how ARF commits and serve, the impact is also shown by showing the difference and change they have made in communities.
